I would most definitely consider it depending on the amount of time involved
I didnโt but on my list. Iโm increasingly frustrated by the lack of understanding and portrayal by book authors and filmmakers alike. At the very least ask us to advise appropriately before an author writes or an actor acts.
@primevideouk.bsky.social #TheGirlfriend enjoyed the series but disappointed by lack of portrayal of cognitive & communication impairments post injury. Post injury people have impaired social communication skills & significant retrograde amnesia! We need to do better to raise public awareness!

We're increasingly ensuring that dissemination is a standalone workpackage in our grants. Work led by the team in Leicester during our NIHR PGfAR resulted in the GuiDiR dissemination framework, which provides a structure for dissemination activities : www.sciencedirect.com/science/arti...
Iโve not posted in ages but this is newsworthy - Iโm delighted weโve been awarded funding for APT for this incredible project supporting communication for families with aphasia - leading with Prof Rebecca Palmer and a stellar team!!!! www.citystgeorges.ac.uk/news-and-eve...
So great to have you at both conferences and to spend time with you!
And a few more memories and posters of the symposium. The other keynotes Jacinta Douglas and Susan Howell reminded us of connection, belonging and asserting our role as SLT!
At the #CCDSymp2025 I presented on communication partner training, dating & creating collaborations. So many amazing talks, posters and opportunities for networking with therapists @leannetogher.bsky.social reminding us of the words of the late Audrey Holland & stories of Mark Ylvisaker
Jacinta Douglas is opening the 4th CCD Symposium to almost 167 attendees in person and online.
What is meaning to you? Good starting reflection as to how to build connection & relationships post-injury #CCDSymp2025
