Hey, it's been a minute, I had a full blown mental breakdown in November and now I'm trying my hand at solo game development I guess
What art streamers are you into?
Top image of La Forge from Star Trek holding up his hand as if to halt someone from speaking. The top text reads βkeeping all your fandom feelings inside.β The bottom image is La Forge pointing approvingly at the text, which reads βwriting those fandom feelings down at the Geekiary.β

The classic conundrum
WIDHWIDUDGS WHERE DID YOU FIND THIS GIF LMAO
Ooooo I love a beefy FMC so much
Omg I love this
I've gotten to the point in my book, like every one before it, where I look around and scratch my head and go "what the hell am I doing here? What is this garbage? None of this means anything." And I'm trying to power through it but MAN
Sameeeee I'm so glad I'm not alone lol
ReadsWithRachel makes me a better author tbh, it's valuable feedback! I always wish I knew what was in the minds of other readers, and her content (and others in the genre) gives me just that. (Don't ask me to revisit this opinion after my first 1 star review lmao)
Its so much sexier when it's funny and awkward and real
These are artifical tree rings, if you will.
My son was right, steam trains are so cool????? From here on out I'm only interested in the weird niche shit that little kids like.
God I miss him so much π’
Currently reading the Foxfire books/essays/articles. I could probably do a bad job of depicting a high fantasy version of appalachia, but I love the area so much it deserves better than that. Oh also lots of research about trains. So much train research.
Unfortunately, many congressional democrats are diet Republicans.
Why's it so expensive to live? I don't even want to be here
I! Did! The! Thing! After an 11 hr work day i decided I'd be damned if I didn't get some writing in. So I set the timer for an hour and went to work. 1,300 words in! Thats more than I've done in two weeks.
Good to know, I'll have to check it out!
Me and my kids looooved this show lmao
I don't think I technically write YA, but I'm saying hello anyway. We always need more trolls and bog witches and things that are Wrong With the Forest.
I have no idea what this IP is but..... I also want to be there instead of here, lmao.
Love a good "fire drill all hands on deck this is the week we need perfection" call on a Monday morning when I'm already overallocated and help is most definitely not on the way. π I've never been so motivated to finish a book yet unable to do so.
This is how you become a writer: just pick one of the things that is deeply wrong with you. Make it a character. Now send it on a self-help journey or try to kill it. Now call it a book.
Hey! Also a writer. Usually.
Same, I already unfollowed like 10 people lmao
We already know that. We've watched it happen with Anna Nicole Smith, Britney Spears, & others I can't think of rn bc I just woke up. I wanted to see what could happen if we turned all of that rage and hate we have for our aging bodies back onto the men/industry who taught us that hate.
Okay so I liked it. It did what it set out to do. And the overall message was accurate: the only ones hurt by this obsessive need for youth and beauty and fuckability in the eyes of men are, well, women. I can't take anything away from the movie because I think it did what it meant to. BUT!!!!!!!!!!
