Really weird to me how it’s just sometimes okay to shove guys. I mean even Becher didn’t argue, and he’s plays up everything, so I won’t argue.
But I know that’s a foul in other spots on the field.

I’ve never seen a manager just quit like this.
Honestly what is Marmol doing this inning? Svanson got rocked to end the 8th, and he’s just letting him continue to get rocked?
Wait Oli Mármol watched Svanson almost give up multiple home runs in the 8th and his plan was to let him pitch the 9th? And he’s *still* letting him pitch?
Is he GD asleep?
MLS has quite the officiating problem.
Please convert a chance CITY
I have seen CITY in good waaay too much this season.
Is this Fox announcer serious? You always just had to clip the strike zone.
Get a double play imo
I really wish the MLB.TV/Cardinals.TV score bug showed more than just the hitters game.
Give me their average or OPS. I’d just like to know a little more about what they’ve done this season.
I like Pedro Pages but this organization vastly overrates his abilities behind the plate. There is too much talent at catcher to be tying yourself to that.
That run is entirely on him.
I think she’s running, but I really get a kick out of the notion that “I might (run)” is the “clearest sign yet” that she IS running lol.
parenthood will have you seriously considering driving 200 miles at bedtime to retrieve a single stuffed raccoon your daughter forgot at grandma’s house
The white American pope, mind you.
I really feel like the Blues would grab him back in a heart beat if they could. I think Hofer has clearly taken their net, and Binnington will be moved in the offseason. If they sign a FA backup, they’d probably go with a vet. But if Ellis is available, bet they’d love him back.
The lady doth protest too much, methinks.
Blues fan who retains a passing if inconsistent curiosity in Colten Ellis here.
What do you see as the plans for him? I’m shocked they used the roster spot on carrying three goalies all year. Obviously they like him but weren’t prepared to move either of the others out of his way just yet.

The Royals are trolling us, come on now…
Why? I'd say Arenado is more of a probably, but him being ahead of Cutch slightly does look right to me.
I think ultimately the defensive reputation from Arenado's prime years will overcome his sharp quick performance drop off with the bat and get him in without too much wait.
Jordan Walker MVP campaign loading??????
One thing that amuses about these times when they duck questions is that like... they're such frequent and brazen liars. Why duck the question here instead of just like like you always do?
It would be so cool if this wasn't a blip for Jordan Walker but truly an arrival. Walker being the guy we thought he could would be SO exciting.
Glad we didn't give up on that guy.
We’ll see. BDIII is never going to operate by the Dodgers, but I’m not convinced there isn’t a successful middle ground that he’ll strike equivalent with our revenue. We’ll find out when we emerge from this.
The Rays don’t keep their players. My hope is that we do.
It is related to a lack of spending, but sometimes not spending isn’t just being cheap. Sometimes it’s having blind spots. A lot of people don’t change their HVAC filters, and it’s not because they can’t afford to buy the filter.
Mo had become a terrible leader of baseball ops.
It was basically four candidates for three spots for each of the two boards. One candidate for each (including the aforementioned incumbent council member) seemed to be conservative affiliated. Maybe MAGA, but not certain.
The people whose signs were featured in yards with progressive messages won.
In my St. Louis suburb, we were electing three members to the city council and three new school board members yesterday.
I believe it’s non-partisan, and honestly I wasn’t as informed as usual.
But I do know the more conservative candidates got cooked, including the incumbent council member.
Of course, I’ve always thought they could and should spend more. But the total budget number was rarely the main issue. It was how they used it, what they were averse to, and what they were stupid about.
I know the owners are the same, but I hope Bloom carries a new strategic influence.
For the better part of his tenure, Mo had plenty of budget to win with. He spent extremely poorly (the organizations aversion too dollar individual contracts being part of that issue), and that lead to a strategic tightening of the budget and reset.
Other revenue factors came into play as well.
And in any case, people have been calling him DeWallet since long before the Cardinals payroll fell into the bottom tier. It was never a particularly honest nickname.
As stated, it’s all about how they divide their pie, not the size of it.
