So I've been doing a re-watch of new Who starting early in Matt Smith's run, and yesterday watched Vincent atD, which is just lovely, and now it's The Lodger, and I love this story, despite the guest cast (one of them, anyway).

It's another one of those episodes I've only ever watched once, when it came out.

I think I used to rewatch early newWho quite a bit, but by the time Matt Smith took over life was busy and I watched at the time and haven't revisited, except for things like Vincent ATD.

I get really irritated when someone questions the cost of creative work. Oh, you hate capitalism? Me too. Talk to my landlord about it. Talk to a politician. Talk to your boss. Talk to literally anyone in power. Artists can't fix capitalism for you on top of everything else we have to do.

100% I've said this before, but learning to say a project is "done enough" and moving on and also just stubbornly continuing to make shit even if it isn't good are more important than being the world's best draftsperson.
