Sectaurs Mail Call Job Lot of Action Figures and Insects - Completing the Toy Line YouTube video by Super Awesome Geek Show

Sectaurs Mail Call
This latest lot makes the Sectaurs cllection complete except for one holster and one shield. I was able to find the shield and ordered it. So now just need Prince Dargon's leg holsters and the collection will be complete for Sectaurs.

Walt Disney’s Huey, Dewey and Louie Junior Wood-chucks issue 71 from Whitman. December 1981.

This was an early comic in the collection that came from one of my Uncles. Once he found out I was into comics, he dropped off a stack, which sparked more love for various comic stories.

The StarGate All-Terrain Cruiser by Hasbro 1994.

This was another reused mold by Hasbro. Can you see it? -it’s the AWE Striker from the GI Joe Real American Hero line from 1985. They made it sandy colored and added a giant missile launcher on top for the StarGate version.

In 1984, at NY Toy Fair, they announced an Aliens Mini Dropship, but store orders were low so it never got produced. Later Kenner used the mold for the VR Troopers Pursuit Jet.
-let’s check this out and compare it. Does it hold up?

Battlestar Galactica issue 17 Marvel Comics July 1980.

Is that The Red HULK on the cover!? So, wouldn’t this technically be his first appearance? heheh.
-no … it’s actually just some creature that got loose on the ship and he appeared in issue 16 first, if I remember right.

As kids, my brother and I would always duck and dodge the TV when this was on. -like they were actually shooting at us and not the toys. 😂

Kenners Sky Commanders Locust Raider with Raider Rath figure 1987.

This is so awesome. You string Sky Commanders across bookcases, tables, chairs and everything else in the living room and turn that into a giant battleground for good vs evil to fight over the very air itself.

Weird War Tales issue 85 DC Comics March 1980.

I absolutely love comics like this. I remember getting my first Weird War Tales as a kid and being totally enthralled by the idea of monsters fighting WWII GI’s. it was just a fantastic idea to have army vs dinosaurs or whatever.

Corporal Klinger M*A*S*H action figure from Tristar International 1982.

They made 8 figures, a large base playset, helicopter, jeep and an ambulance. The figures were 3.75” scale. This Klinger is the only one I own, but still a treasure in the collection.

Aliens Space Marine Power Loader by Kenner 1992

Such an incredible toy and the box art is so iconic now. It’s so 90’s. This was a great scene in the Aliens movie and it’s awesome that Kenner decided to make a toy of this Power Loader, even if they did throw a missile on top. 😂

Have the figure too. As a kid I didn’t know what the figure went to so used him with He-Man. But later found this comic series and loved reading the awesome stories of The Warlord! Glad both comic and figure are still in the collection.

Robotix issue 1 from Marvel Comics February 1986

This helped create the story behind the amazing toys. With a unique octagonal connecting system they allowed for awesome builds that brought imagination to life in a sci-fi world of good vs evil. The 5POA figs were great spacemen.

Ever since I got a GI Joe Dragonfly as a kid, I have loved toy helicopters. The Dragonfly is still number one, but this Robocop helicopter rates high up there as well. Awesome toy! -and the package art is fantastic.
