@imjamieanderson.bsky.social @gerryanderson.bsky.social Hey, don't know if this will be seen, but a suggestion please: If you make a smaller Thunderbird 1 at some point, it'd be amazing if it were in-scale with the large Thunderbird 2 model you released last year, especially with landing struts. :)

I’ll never fail to be gutted, & occasionally, really shocked, by people who are all of the following:
• Supremely talented at what they do.
• Use said talent to make Star Trek related ‘things’.
• Hold the most abhorrent, bigoted views, that fly in the face of the series they so claim to love.
The 6-foot original filming miniature of the starship U.S.S. Enterprise NCC 1701-D, painted in her original colours.
Paint chip samples of the original hull colours of the Enterprise-D.
Once again, the photo really doesn't do the colour's justice:
Standard issue detangling comb, given to all serving personnel and civilians living aboard Galaxy-class starships.
The hairbrush I've been using for the past three years.
Photo doesn't do the colour's justice, they're an almost exact match. Beautiful 2364 vintage.
The ending of 'Relics' (TNG) always bums me out. An alternative I came up with years ago (not something I do):
Transporter room, Geordi gives Scotty a gift of a wooden whisky box (big grin), but instead of holding a bottle of scotch, it contains this (shock/smile/tears in eyes):
Great photos (as always).
I was given a book about tugs for Christmas as a kid (Tugs and Towing by Jack Gaston), and from the several photos of her inside, the Flying Phantom became an instant favourite.
Still can't believe what happened (and likewise, that it's almost been twenty years).
As always, great photos.
Taken inside one of the three Lagrange Clouds within the Colonia system, this is a 'Rubeum' metallic crystal formation, varieties of which (crystal formations) are a very common thing to see, and are quite numerous. The ship is my Cobra Mk III, 'Temperament Mild'.
The Colonia system is a lot closer to the galactic centre than our own system (Sol), so the number of visible stars increases quite dramatically. Ship is my Cobra Mk III, the 'Temperament Mild - J-132A'. I've slightly increased the colour saturation and contrast in this image, to suit my own taste. 23/01/2026
No idea of the location (somewhere near to Carrier Waypoint Alpha), but this is a pink, ringed gas giant. Ship is my Cobra Mk III, the 'Temperament Mild - J-132A'.
Final bunch of screenshots. Additional context in the ALT. #DW3 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social
A close-up view of an Umbrella Mollusc, with my ship (Cobra Mk III 'Temperament Mild') in the background.
Unsure of what I did (no weapons, they're only 'out' due to my use of the compositional scanner), but this appears to show the Mollusc 'belching' at me...charming! Ship is my Cobra Mk III, 'Temperament Mild'.
Leaving Colonia to head back to the carrier, having plotted a neutron-jump route, my first system (Eol Prou IW-W e1-1868) contained another Notable Stellar Phenomena which, once again, contained more 'Umbrella' MOLLUSCS! Some bothering was therefore had. #DW3 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social
Inspecting a cluster of 'Umbrella Molluscs' inside one of the three Notable Stellar Phenomena instances, within the Colonia system. To the right of the picture, can be seen my Cobra Mk III, 'Temperament Mild'. 22/01/2026

This is the NSP instance closest to one of the gas giants/red dwarf stars (thus, the colour of the surrounding Lagrange Cloud). Once again, I'm bothering some 'Umbrella Molluscs' that are to be found, within. As before, my ship is my Cobra Mk III, 'Temperament Mild'. 22/01/2026
Once again, there's some Mollusc bothering occuring. The ship is my Cobra Mk III, 'Temperament Mild'. 22/01/2026
The Colonia system has three instances of 'Notable Stellar Phenomena', and contained within, can be found, 'Umbrella' MOLLUSCS!
Word of advice: If you see a cluster of them (as seen in the 'orange' photos below'), avoid ramming into them at speed... #DW3 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social
A first-person view from the cockpit of my Cobra Mk III 'Temperament Mild', showing an incredibly busy interior of 'Jaques Station', in the Colonia star system, roughly 22,000 light years from Earth. 21/01/2026
Upon arrival at Carrier Waypoint Alpha (Spoihaae XE-X d2-9), and after a short excursion to the 'World of Death' (planet A 1), it was off to Colonia, for my first visit since February 2021's engineering trip, with Down to Earth Astronomy (D2EA).
Jaques Station was...very busy. #DW3 #EliteDangerous
The view looking forward, from the bridge and observation lounge of the DW3 fleet carrier 'Odysseus', at it resides in system 'Blua Eaec ZD-T d3-248'. An Anaconda can be seen sitting on landing pad 1, just to the left of the main mast. January 21st, 2026 (3312).
A sea of stars, as viewed from system 'Blua Eaec ZD-T d3-248'. Somewhere within, my Cobra Mk III 'Temperament Mild', can be seen...
The second jump after the previously mentioned system (the one with the ELW), the Odysseus entered into another system with a neutron star at its core, making for some spectacular views as we travelled en route to Waypoint Alpha. #DW3 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social
The system map of 'NUEKUAE EC-M D7-56', in which the centre is a neutron star, and planet 1 is an 'ELW' (Earth-like World). ELW's are extremely valuable when scanned via probes.
My Cobra Mk III 'Temperament Mild', basking in front of the Earth-like World, 'NUEKUAE EC-M D7-56 1'. The light from the local star (a neutron type) makes the colours of the planet appear particularly vibrant, by Elite standards.
A fish-eyed view out of the bar windows, aboard the carrier 'Odysseus', whilst passing through NUEKUAE EC-M D7-56. In view is the system's neutron star.
A fun moment during night one of the mid-week carrier jumps towards Waypoint Alpha: A neutron star system containing an Earth-like World (resulting in a mad scramble of people taking to their ships to make some quick money from scans). #DW3 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social
My thoughts as well.
My Cobra Mk V 'True Companion', in orbit around Skaude AA-A h294 AB1 - a ringed M-class star.
A quick few hops away from the carrier's current location, is one of the Distant Worlds 2 waypoints, the 'Collection of Wonders' (Skaude AA-A h294). #DW3 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social
Taking samples of Tubus, with my Cobra Mk V 'True Companion', behind me. The environment is very reminiscent of the Grand Canyon. January 21st.
A few miles away from the location in the previous shot, I'm once again getting a Tubus sample. My Cobra Mk V 'True Companion', is in the background. January 21st.
A further positional change, this time to sample some tussock. Ship pictured is my Cobra Mk V 'True Companion'. January 21st.

Much too much room for a Cobra, but thus ends Day 1. #DW3 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social

Many ships.
All shapes, sizes and ages (of ships).
My ship is on the very small end of the scale, but comes equipped with FOUR toilets!
All four of which, flush directly out into the vacuum!
Mass Jump 1, and thus begins, Distant Worlds 3, targetting the heart of the Orion Nebula. #DW3 #Flotilla2 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social

Hey kids, look! It's me and Obsidian Ant at the launch of Distant Worlds 3! #DW3 #EliteDangerous @frontierdev.bsky.social
One of these would be a better choice. If you see one, let me know (and I vice versa).
Those Driver gloves are definitely made of fine, Corinthian leather.
Introduce yourself with four spaceships.
