A watercolour of Rose Crescent in Cambridge, not recent. I love this curved street and it's shops and restaurants. The plant containers and the blue blinds were particularly lovely. Direct watercolour done with the brush without underlying drawing.
One of my paintings of Rose Crescent in Cambridge UK (not recent). I love this curved street and it's shops and restaurants. Frequented La Mimosa around the time this was painted. The WOW sign was included in other paintings and drawings. This one was sold.

He came downstairs to call the landlord.
I watched trembling from the kitchen
As he rasped and bubbled into his
phone, “Damp’s gotten worse,
you need to get down here.”

With the Hugo award poetry category going for its second year, I'd also love to shout out my sci-fi poem "Looking Back", published in @analogsf.bsky.social . I think it's my best poem yet, with all those big themes of deep time and destiny!
Here's my post, if that's okay—thanks!
