Yeah that's brutal if it's happening in all of them. Good luck, hope you get a chance to put it behind you soon. When you care about teaching, it's that much worse when it brings you frustration instead of joy.
It can happen. I had a class from hell last spring that was dramatically worse than anything else I'd ever seen in 14 years. The next semester was fine. But the fraction of the time that people are getting that out-of-nowhere class-from-hell seems to be rising.

My German isn't particularly fluent, but after spending the past 1+ years trying to learn some Finish, I suddenly need to navigate some German websites to plan travel and it feels SO EASY.
It’s on my list of long shots. For various reasons I put it behind Florida, but it’s in the same category as Kansas and Nebraska - if I wake up they day after the election and you tell me the Democrats flipped more than 8 seats, it’s one of those.
