i didn't even appreciate it like i should have
I saw NIN open for David Bowie and I've seen a lot of great concerts but I probably can't ever top that
Started reading Barbara Vine (aka Ruth Rendall) books this month. It's always fun to "discover" an amazing author.
That's funny! I love Billy Wilder. I've seen A LOT of his films but not that one yet. I'll have to check it out.
Ha! That is an unlikely combo!
I had trouble with Rami Malek's character while watching NUREMBERG and I wish I had known before the end of the movie that he's playing a real person. I'd assumed his character was an amalgamation of various psychiatrists who'd worked on the project.
Thank you, G.A.! I'm glad that you enjoyed the story! Just posted about the conclusion of the "Find What You Love and Let It Kill You Series." Lots of great stories!
Punk Noir concludes series "Find What You Love and Let It Kill You," featuring fortunate(?) souls facing the void, committed to their love of choice. Authors include @anthonykaneevans.bsky.social, @epiphanyferrell.bsky.social, and yours truly. Enjoy!!

I still need to see JUDGMENT AT NUREMBERG. It sounds like it is the better movie. But I think NUREMBERG is worth seeing for Russell Crowe's performance. He plays both monstrous and pathetic to perfection.

Great stories in here ... especially enjoyed @anthonykaneevans.bsky.social , Ryan Fiennes, and @paulkwrites.bsky.social
(Well, one of those is a poem. But still.)
Thank you, Carlotta! That was such an entertaining series to submit for and then read.
"TEENBEAT" should be accepted as a word in Spelling Bee.
That's a good one.
I'm gonna go with 1996-2000.
Me blocking someone
If a comet was going to destroy Earth in 3 weeks, I would totally take up smoking again
This further upsets me because I'm that person who maintains NIN's original version is still the best one.
Recently watched NUREMBERG and Russell Crowe portrayed that very well.
Yep, strange bedfellows these days
THAT OCTOBER on the shelf of Muncie Public Library
Authors love libraries carrying their books. Here’s my novel THAT OCTOBER on display at my hometown Muncie Public Library. Whether you can buy a copy of a book or not, you can always request that your library carry it. We’ll love you forever.
Ack. That episode is nightmare fuel.
Way to go Nathan! Can't wait to read.

If you're voting for the Anthony Awards, I modestly suggest "Keeping Up With The Janes," my short story in the July/August 2025 issue of Ellery Queen Mystery Magazine. A tale for anyone who's ever been broke or had a bad experience with dance teachers.

Shatner is a real one for putting that revelation into words. I'm sure the pressure to be "positive" about the experience was very high.
I'll be reading tomorrow night, in Keyport, NJ!
The World According to Garp
Roe and the 19th Amendment aren't even based on the same underlying constitutional principles, if memory serves, so that guy is evil and a dumbass. But I'm sure with our current Supreme Court they could probably make headway with their 19th Amendment nonsense.
