I also just believe Glen Powell took more effort and pride in voice Fox than Christopher Prattious does for Mario.

Like sure, Fox doesn’t really have a “main voice” to mimic, but he tries to act more than the main guy himself plus he had a simple enough plot and motive along with a fun personality

I cared for Fox McCloud’s character more in the Mario Galaxy movie than Mario himself.
