And I say this out loud because I actually did go through a period where, in my insecurity, I was certain having a specific experience on my resume would heal me and finally finally FINALLY give me some sense of legitimacy.
Glad I thought about it and prioritized different things, in hindsight.
Would that be a cool experience? Sure! Would I like to experience that for myself eventually? I dunno. I’m not married to it, but maybe?
Mostly, I’m just having a good time getting good at this for the fun of it. If a portfolio happens then it happens. Much like the evolution of life, lmao
I used to be all Solid Snake “!!!” Sound whenever industry openings crossed my timeline, but now I’m just kinda like “Eeeeeeeh I don’t wanna move. I’m good. I hope someone else who really needs it finds it and makes it theirs.”
