Look, you try to communicate with a person enough times, and if there's clearly nothing coming back to you, it's time to stop wasting the energy. You're not gonna force them into wanting to put in the same amount of time.

Ah, so from what I heard, Remow licensed this, and @bangzoomstudios.com handled the same-day English dub.
Too bad your contributions didn't appear on Remow's YouTube channel (or Plex), but alas, at least the major streaming platforms get the English dub and (by extension) your captions.
If you missed the Threadnought, which arose out of mockery of the anime subnormals and legal dregs who were supporters of a sex pest voice actor, you missed some of the greatest collisions of law, weird culture, and personality disorders.
I even dropped a review of this on Letterboxd, if any of y'all are interested.

Yes... I actually suffered through Foodfight!. All 90 minutes of it. This is one of those that I hated from start to finish, and even had to apologize to The Garbage Pail Kids Movie of all the cinematic trainwrecks I've suffered through.
Nearest one is in Jersey for me. I'm sadly not heading there tomorrow.
Never thought I'd add @letterboxd.social to my digital footprint, but here I am, now with a Letterboxd profile!

Nevermind, I found out that the site is having an outage.
Is it me, or is Bluesky acting up a little too much as of late?
Article from The Wrap. Headline that reads: Inside Doug Liman's $70 Million Al-Made Movie Starring Casey Affleck and Gal Gadot "Bitcoin: Killing Satoshi" will be looking for buyers at Cannes and is billed as the first fully-generated, studio-quality Al feature film Emily Zemler April 15, 2026 @ 6:00 AM
One of those headlines that just gets hilariously worse as you read it
Other much smaller countries have high-speed rail figured out, but we don't because reasons.
I love train rides, man, I would go so many more places if the train was more reasonable. I'll still take an Amtrak for some upcoming events, but dude, Amtrak can't be our only option.
Probably because the U.S. government is just too lazy to even implement or invest in high speed rail.
Guess that's another L that the U.S. government has weighing on them at this point. π€·

Of course, it should go without saying that I did sign the open letter opposing the WB/Paramount merger. If you have the time to do so, the sign the open letter before it's too late. We need our voices heard now more than ever.

Over 1,000 major names in Hollywood signed an open letter opposing the Warner Bros/Paramount merger.
This includes Denis Villeneuve, J.J. Abrams, Bryan Cranston, Mark Ruffalo, Joaquin Phoenix, Damon Lindelof, Noah Wyle, Glenn Close, Jane Fonda, David Fincher, Ted Danson & more
I think The Quartering might actually be done for good.
If that's so, then we may have claimed a victory in our never-ending fight against the grifters that have turned media discourse into a minefield.
Of course the wife-beater would be a Vic fan.
Shouldn't be a goddamn surprise here, given that this wife-beater had previously endorsed Vic's pathetic Star Trek fan-series.
I was also there for that Discord call. And I can confirm. Paramount screwed this one up so bad. Definitely deserved a theatrical run and not just one on Paramount Plus.
...for the crew of this film knowing that it got leaked in its entirety. But then again, screw Paramount for their terrible security and for screwing this franchise over repeatedly.
Can confirm that I watched the entirety of the recently leaked Avatar: Aang, The Last Airbender movie on a Discord call. I still cannot believe how this got screwed over by Paramount in that it was denied a theatrical run in favor of a Paramount+ release. I really do feel sorry...
I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Anime Matsuri relocated to a much smaller place at this point, given the dwindling attendance it has been experiencing as of late. I'm also guessing that the smaller venue would be AM's final resting place if anything.
I never knew one of my top-ranking posts would eventually hit the 100 like-mark, but now it did. This is most certainly a new milestone for me!
Sadly, the amount of Cybertrucks on Staten Island have not dwindled since the last time I vented about these in a post here. I really wish these things were just discontinued outright.
