Four glasses of draft Boskeun on a wooden table in 't Brugs Beertje. The bar is in the background.
NEW Beer Guide Brugge apps now available - FREE OF CHARGE (for now) as they're brand new versions, so that folk who'd the old apps needn't pay again. Get them via the links here:

Great stuff, many congratulations! 🍻
Thanks! The site content is all mine, but previously my friend Fred did the apps. Fred very sadly died 3 years ago, but fortunately his brother Bob kept the sites and apps going, & the new apps are all Bob's work. I'd be lost without him!

The sun hiding behind a dark cloud. The sky has lots of blue but also some lighter clouds to the right. There are some trees on the open farmland below.
Dramatic cloud formations over the Uitkerkse Polder (on the outskirts of Blankenberge) on this morning's ride 🚴♀️
Ah, I think I'm still 3 or 4 behind you 🤣
Reminds me that we really must watch In Bruges again. It's been years...
Jeruzalemkerk, Brugge (R) with some classic old Flemish houses to the left. The sky has some blue with lots of fluffy white clouds.
The beautiful Jeruzalemkerk, Brugge, with beautiful clouds above - 7.16pm last night.
Yea St B definitely not in the centre of Watou. A good 30 mins walk, if you've not over-imbibed 😂
Lovely! Rolling Hills do some very tasty beers 😊
Phew! Pretty decent price then.
How much of it do you get for £14?
Rodenbach Vintage van 't vat 😎
😮
Haha!
Glad it wasn't just me - half way up I was convinced I wouldn't make it! Just about got there in the end but it was brutal.
Yea the Kemmelberg cobbles are pretty horrendous, but thankfully all the other climbs I did were cobble free.
I pity anyone who chose the Arsenal match instead 😂
I’ve not yet eaten there, but agree about the proprieters - you always get a warm welcome. Gery also now knows what beer I’ll have first (draft St Bernardus Tripel) without me having to ask. Impressive given I don’t go in *that* often.
Haven’t tried it, but I’m now intrigued to know what’s in a Boum-Boum?
Interesting, Le Viscos is on our list for a possible meal. We're staying half way between Argelès & the top of the climb 😊
Thought tonight's first half was even better than last night, and that's saying something.
That's great, you'll have a fantastic time there. Looking forward to your posts & photos.
Good plan. I'm renting from a shop in Argelès-Gazost. Impressed with their service so far, so fingers crossed.
No, sparkling water, as it happens 🤣
Between the two slices of bread, as per usual 😂
I absolutely love De Papil 😊
Pretty sure there isn't one, as the offenders have no brains 😂
Ta, and likewise! Are you bringing your own bike or renting out there?
