Glad I'm not the only one. I thought the main character was terrible. The girls in her class were very nice to her! Their sin was being too preppy!

You got a new job! Happy for you!
Uuuh what?
Democrats impeached Trump twice and no one gives them credit for it
I think of people saying boomers (read any older adult with children) had cheap housing. Sort of true but interest rates were much higher in the 80's and just pre Great Recession and the houses were smaller.
House buying was not the same
Yeah but see I had to vote my conscience because Harris was controlled by Israel.
For real I still see folk defend not voting because of Gaza and it's like ok, Gaza is still peril *and* we have all this. So was it worth it? They know the answer is no but can't admit it.
This woman is like a scared straight episode trying to get you off your phone and into some real hobbies.
I've always said that I'm more likely to get hassled for being *African*- American than just being American. And lots of countries to distinguish between black and black American so my experience overall has been very good.
Dewey Cox
I see this leveled at women with how anything a mom from a comfortable (but not wealthy) middle class lifestyle likes is seen as mad cringe. It's bad and cringe to be a normie in a non art or creative type job that's satisfied with their life. That life style is PMC.
I have that too. "Never Eat Soggy Waffles"? Bitch is it that hard to remember "w" is on the left and "e" is on the right?
I notice this as I never order delivery. When I go to pick up food, I'm like the only person in line but my order is taking forever because there are a ton being put on those delivery shelves.
Also shows how they know almost no one comes in to pick up as those shelves are just out in the open.
Pay more and more possibility of upward mobility too.
I saw someone say that things are bland now. I was like what are you talking about?! When I was a kid sushi and seaweed was considered rare and gross. Now I can get that in my small college town. The kind and variety of food you can ubereats now was considered nice and rare when I was a teen.
The Door Dash treatlerites still at it huh
I will say, when we were kids, it wasn't that weird to be into old series. The culture moves a lot faster than it did then. That being said, yeah come on. The series started in the 90s. The last book came out when I graduated from high school. And next year is my 20 year reunion
Only cuz you told me to
Ya know the economy*was* good under Biden. Wages, especially for the lowest earners were up. That is not true the past year under Trump. So yeah, people didn't want to hear it when they were making money. They def don't want to hear it now
I saw a lot of friends who were big Paulites become hardcore Bernie Bros. It's clear their politics were "charasmatic guy guy with easy solutions". It's how I realized that fringe is a horseshoe
An uncomfortable truth certain types may not encounter is that most people in jail did things to get them there. You can argue about how long sentences are. I get that. But no, that guy didn't go to jail for 20 years for just an ounce of weed. That kind of thing just doesn't happen.
Americans right now have this idea that "financially struggling" means "brings their own lunch to work".
Biden's approval went down after he ended out longest war so yeah I don't wanna fuckin hear it.
I bought All That Jazz on DVD at a local shop.
Book subreddits are the thing that taught me that maybe there is a wrong way to read.
They are fairly nouveau riche but without some of the more ostentatious trappings of that crowd. Left them better off when the hit came.
I always wondered how my in laws did so well through the Great Recession when many of their fellow wealthy travelers didnt. They told me that most folk just get everything on credit and were actually cash poor. That blew 20 year old me's mind.
Yeah it's just not possible to deal with this without causing a recession in itself. No one cares that for the most part, income has risen to match prices. They want deflation. Ya know that thing that sort of caused the depression
This is very true. I stopped reading Harry Potter, a series I loved,as a kid because people at my first high school thought it dumb and for White people.
Culture is a much harder peer pressure
Remember when Chuck Woolery tried to used that as a dunk on Harris?
