It's always "are you on the spectrum?" and never "thank you for those incredibly specific and honestly fascinating Starlight Express facts"

In the UK we call them lifts but in the US they call them elevators, because we’re raised differently.

Rewatched 'The Eaters of Light' by Rona Munro. I've been watching a lot of Classic Who and wanted to see if having someone who'd written for both eras would bridge the gap, and it did! Perfect for New Who, but I can also see how easy it would be to split into 6 episodes like a Classic serial.

Doctor Who’s lost episodes are worth getting excited about Two parts of a previously missing 1965 Dalek serial represent the series at the peak of its powers

Cutting it a bit fine this month, but my sister and I rewatched 'The Witchfinders' for this one! A great cast and lots of fun, so I'm glad it was as enjoyable to watch as the first time around.

(And if anyone's interested in a spoilery review of the episode... tardis.guide/reviews/stor...)

This local Wolfdog joined an Olympic ski event and triggered the finish-line camera. This is Nazgul. He snuck into a cross-country skiing sprint this morning and raced the homestretch with some competitors before being escorted home. 14/10 someone get him a medal

This is Peanut. He decided to stay home from work today. Doesn't have a job, but is too exhausted to go even if he did have one. 12/10 (TT: peanut5025)

I'm firmly in the Jo Grant era of my Classic Who marathon and didn't want to skip ahead, so thought I'd try something different!
Tom Allen does a fab job with Oliver's introduction, the story is exciting and I'm already tempted to buy the next story. A great change of pace from the TV episodes!

This is Link. His ball suddenly went missing and then reappeared trapped under his bed. He called his brother Otto in for backup, knowing they'd need all three of their collective brain cells to get it back. 12/10 for both (IG: thegoldenbruvs)

While it may seem redundant to say “pump it up” after encouraging the listener to “pump up the jam,” the author is underscoring the urgency of pumping up said jam; leaving us to ponder the bleakness of living in a world devoid of it.

a black and gray long-haired yorkiepoo sits at a desk in a university classroom. a piece of paper lays on the desk in front of her, her paws propped up on the desk as if she's bracing herself. there are students in the background hunched over and working on paper in front of them. the pup looks at the camera with a concerned side eye. she's realizing she probably should have read some of the homework before eating it.

This is Clio. She did not study for the test today. Also does not know how to read. 12/10 (IG: paspastotoro)

Don’t let other people’s enjoyment of things you don’t like ruin your day. You’re better than that.

(Sigh) Sign the petition and share it, UK peeps. They keep doing this ‘internet safety’ nonsense.

a golden retriever puppy stands inside a bathtub with his front paws propped up on the side. he's wearing a brown bear ear headband with two small sunflowers on the right ear. there's a smidge of concern in his face, but mostly he seems ready to get this over with.

This is Dunkin. He will not take a bath without his bear ear headband. Partly because it keeps his face dry, and partly because it helps him feel brave. 12/10

starlight express is the ideal musical because in order to be THAT into a musical of drag style roller skating trains you HAVE to be some level of extremely neurodivergent and/or queer
