He’s had a notable decline in general performance this season.

Think his days as a starter are numbered Steven. His sloppiness tonight was shocking. Possession lost on numerous occasions.

Fucking depressing, isn’t it, absolute knackers.

Ironically I’ve actually visited a slave island off the coast of The Gambia in 1984, I’m old, it was probably one of the most emotionally testing places I’ve ever been to, along with war graves in Thailand. As an aside I met Kunta Kinte’s great, great, great granddaughter, allegedly.

Completely agree, makes me ashamed. Only wish others could see what we’ve created and understand the bigger picture, rather than the race hate that’s being perpetuated elsewhere. I’m probably pissing against the wind though.

They are British, they are English but more importantly they are Geordies.

My heritage is completely white British. I’ve traced my family tree back to the 14th century and the furthest away my family came from was Sedgefield on my father’s side and Glasgow on my mother’s. I’ve now got two mixed heritage grandchildren who I’m immensely proud of and love dearly.

Watching Empire on BBC2 and completely love David Olusaga and his narrative. Shows how fucked the British Empire was. The slave islands were a disgrace that we should be eternally be unilaterally ashamed of. The flag shaggers won’t understand what we created.

You really couldn’t make this up.

Said this before, in another place, but #gonefishing is simply beautiful and perfect television.

That was reflected in the stands. Atmosphere was rubbish.

Still trying to get my head around how horrendously bad that was.

Absolutely zero positives from that one today Chris. I was there and it was painful, absolutely painful.

@defjeff.bsky.social did the Bowie exhibition today. Was very small, didn’t do the specific exhibit extraction stuff but otherwise was absolutely fascinating to see. Some absolutely fantastic things to see. The V&E East is fascinating to see, well worth a visit.

Came to that London place today and guess what? There was loads and loads of white faces, they were everywhere. Thankfully there was also a a few black
and brown faces also.

I’m with you on this one. My full on miserable old bloke comes out.

I was really pissed off with a few dickheads in the NE corner.

Genuinely think their system only allows one person in at a time.
I just let the queue run in the background and enabled the notification email. Although at the end I was watching the clock.

When I got in, after 24hrs, granted they paused the queue last night, I wanted tickets for next week. In London for the West Ham match. I basically had my pick of time slots for Friday or Saturday. Only a few slots were sold out.

It was mad really. There’s loads of tickets available. They must only let one account in at a time.
Belgian cyclocross sounds a decent alternative.

24 hours later and success was achieved.

Looks like just over 50% for me. Logged in bang on 10.00, so 6 1/4 for me. Got Harriers at 6.00 pm so now panicking that I miss the 20 min slot if successful.

I’m in the same boat as you with this one. It’s painful watching the little green man not move very quickly.

In my 50+ years supporting #NUFC I can’t remember being a gutted as I was tonight. Deserved so much more and were the better team for most of the match. All round team performance was superb, they worked their bollocks off for the 100+ minutes. Hopefully injuries are ok for Leeds on Saturday.

I tore my hamstring last October, a full grade 3 tear and a broken shoulder from the fall, so I’m on a similar road to recovery. I’d be happy with with 25 at the minute.
