"daft free kick..." I thought it was extremely harsh, to say the least. Said to my daughter before it was taken that it would go in. Really annoyed at that decision.

November so far- mean temp 13.5c. This is 0.7c up on the average temp for OCTOBER, and 4.2c up on the average November.

When we do eventually get some colder weather, my goodness we're going to feel it !

Go in to wake my daughter this morning, and @thisisheart on her clock-radio is playing Christmas songs.

ITS NOVEMBER THE *@~#%$ THIRTEENTH !!!

It's getting ridiculous. The songs will become old even before November is out. Am I now to abandon music radio 6 weeks a year now?

Looks like I'm finally done with X.

All 3 of my accounts suspended overnight for alleged "inauthentic behaviour".

Appears that anyone using a 3rd party version of Tweetdeck are getting hit in this way.

Think it's been unusually dry in recent weeks? You'd be right!

Just 13.8mm recorded here since 26th Feb. We would normally expect ~80-85mm in that time.

Sadly, true to form, BH Friday could see around 15mm fall amid low temps.

Sometimes the weather can be just plain spiteful.

Tough game today. Amid all the "Everton have never beaten us in the League on our own patch" talk, I fear an early Ev goal followed by them πŸ’©πŸ ing their way to a win in true Dyche style. Hope to be wrong #afcb

Rainfall in 2024 ended up at 1055.2mm - a relatively dry last 11 days meant that in the end we only just beat the previous wettest year this century (2023).

The annual mean here is 788mm, so 134% of the annual mean here.

well well well.

Beat United tomorrow and we go above City.

That would be delicious....

probably won't happen now I've said that #afcb

what's happened? I gather there are issues with the latest W11 update. I'm holding off for now.

Today's rain takes the annual total to 1050.8mm, 2nd highest this century above the infamous 2014.

Only 2.4mm to go to take top spot off last year which ended at 1053.2mm.

Looks certain to be passed tomorrow when the next low comes in.

Said to my brother on the way back over from the Spurs game, that we're nailed on to lose on Sunday. Seems to be the way of it this season.

Was their player cautioned for the challenge? If so, them Smudge shoudlnt have had to wait, unless the freekick not being given affected that?

I think travel issues a major factor... trains are all cancelled. Wind would ruin the game anyway.

Are we seeing the death of neoliberalism tho?

I dont think so.

We have most media pushing the NeoL agenda, BBC acting as the Farage PR machine (at exp. of more prog. LD and GRN), and so on.

Unless LAB are brave, dealing w the econ fallout of Brexit and so on, we WILL have Farage in No.10 in 2029.

Over the weekend, 2024's rainfall passed the 1000mm mark. Only the third year this century to do so (the others being last year, and 2014.

Current year total is 1020.6mm and it is likely that we will beat last years century-high 1053.2mm.

Yearly average is 787mm.

And so it begins.

President is on borrowed time and will be overthrown by Russian thugs very soon, I expect.

Will be Belarus version 2.

If Reform get in with a "landslide" on 33% of the vote in 2029, it will be on Starmer.

It's a disaster waiting to happen. Noit being bold enough in dealing with this country's problems will fuel populism, and it would not take much for the above to come true.

I remember someone putting that audio to Cook scoring at home to Reading, can't find it now #afcb

Again??

I'm not aware of ANY cherries fans calling for his head this season, or even last season once we were past that brutal run of fixtures we started with a year ago. No-one calling for his head after last 2 losses.

We know we're not perfect with a lot still to improve on, we know where we are

Project 2029 is coming.

If Labour are not careful over the next 4 years or so, Farage with be PM in '29 and would be bringing all the new American shithousery with him, aided and abetted by the increasingly right wing and mendacious MSM.
