I can hear my husband snoring in the next room and it's consistently on beat, enough that I'm thinking I could sync a clock to it.

Listening to RTJ4 since I can't sleep and...really loving (/s) how the grimness of 2020 has reappeared. How I wished (then and now) that it didn't resonate so much.

Obviously not 100% correct, but I had a rather bleak chuckle this morning.

In my high school years (specifically 2010) I wrote a badly disguised Doctor Who ripoff for NaNoWriMo, and I got it printed. One of the characters was from the future. With the bird flu discussion going around, I remembered a short passage from it.

I'm really struggling with being most productive during the evenings rather than during work hours, which sucks because I want to be spending that time with my husband.

Any tips? I've got ADHD that makes setting habits and delaying gratification difficult.

Ahhhhhh yeah, I guess it would depend on what you're willing to do. A lot of positions require pretty crappy starting points that you then have to work up to for the good stuff.

I would say it definitely depends on what field you want to go into! A lot of things don't need a degree.

I'm so excited to see the final product! I adore the tarot deck, got myself the puzzle too (it's difficult, I like it!)

Translating the concepts in our head to those that can be understood is so complicated and fascinating. Brains and how we communicate is neat.

But just acknowledging that is a net zero for actually getting the work done. 🫠

Also my docking station finally keeled over while I was untangling all my cords to even get to my tower for the upgrade so now my workspace today is this. I hate Tuesdays.

Ordered an upgraded GPU before Thanksgiving, looked forward to it all weekend, installed it yesterday ... and it was faulty.

Tuesdays are literally the worst. Everyone complains about Mondays - NO!

Mondays are bad but by Tuesday the past weekend is a memory, and you're not even at the middle of the week.

We just crossed six years in our apartment and I had the mind-blowing revelation that this is the longest I've ever lived in one place. I've moved 14 times in my life, and we're about to do it again this summer (hopefully to live for 10+ years) - I'm tired.

Terrible Game Idea: IKEA roguelike. Traverse a maze of furniture, collect random trinkets with unpronounceable names, try to find the exit.
