Journalistic malpractice to report this without also saying the admin lies as it breathes. Minnesotans will believe this when we see it. My wife just told me one of her patients was late today because he was detained by ICE.

Is there reporting/data on how many observers have been arrested or detained, versus actually charged, and then if so to what extent the charges have stuck?

There are thousands of people in the rapid response and patrol groups in the western suburbs (and I’m sure other suburbs too), but just as a matter of geography patrolling and commuting is more difficult. I got a notification the other day and by the time I got there 5 minutes later ICE was gone.

Yup. They arrested the observers in the car in front of us at 44th and Stevens this afternoon. For no reason other than they could.

This happened to us yesterday. We were following a red sprinter van with confirmed ICE plates that was seen coming from whipple. After about 10 minutes of bizarre driving, he stopped and got out with a sign saying we were profiling him and that he lived in South Minneapolis.

This was Friday morning, less than 24 hours before they murdered Alex for doing the same thing, lawfully observing. Obviously my encounter was benign compared to many others happening every day. I can’t help but think it was only dumb luck that prevented the thugs that boxed me in from escalating.

I’ll vote for Hennepin County Attorney who commits to prosecute—or continue the prosecution of—federal agents who have committed crimes, and not just the two murders. Have any of the candidates made any statements?
