There were just a few moments when you could tell she wasnât there, the quiet moments she and (now former) Script Writers previously allowed characters informed most. I found that moment when Cromwell was allowed to be seen crying somewhat awkward, but perhaps that is historical fiction for you?

Quite agree, where has the idea of the well rounded pupil gone?
Hope allâs well besides, your lessons still inspire!
This may be controversial, but I like the new Jaguar logo and the new advert. Grace, Pace and Space needs to be updated to reflect the modern (electric car) world but that does not mean it has been lost with the new logo!
I hope both sides of the argument read this from Gordon Brown - at his most humane and sensitive

Todayâs been a good day - Queenâs University Belfast has an awful lot to teach other universities in the U.K. about how to engage Alumni with current students (from BA to PGT and PGR).
I owe QUB a huge debt of gratitude! #StudentMentoringProgramme
A great man has passed away, as did David Jackson during Covid. Oakham School had such riches, Mr Gilvary was surgical in his teaching of Chaucer
As soon as @Keir_Starmer stopped speaking, I had a call. âYouâre my Labour councillor. I wanted you to know that Iâve just joined Labour. His message about care workers deserving as much respect as the Prime Minister really struck home.â Welcome to @WitneyLabourCLP John. đčâ€ïž
Must be said, lay nightâs view was a little âdifferentâ - NHS at its best from Wednesdayâs GP appointment to yesterdayâs referral and then to todayâs Virtual Consult. Despite 14yrs of Tory failure we really do have the best Healthcare System in the world!

Rather delighted to have been able to attend the Installation of the 85th Dean of Lincoln Cathedral on Saturday, you can watch the Service here www.youtube.com/live/NvBg0kl...
A rather intriguing piece of analysis from Pippa Bailey about the race to become the next #ArchbishopofCanterbury - Guli Francis-Dehqani would be my choice, fingers crossed the CNC agree! www.newstatesman.com/politics/rel...
It will take a little time for Labour's approach to housing to bear fruit, but it is a genuine change. I was pleased to see the New Homes Accelerator Programme for getting to grips with the reasons for stalled sites.
Serious self-discipline is required when reading Alan Boothâs âThe Roads to Sata: A 2000 Mile Walk through Japanâ - a chapter a week so far, but that rule may be broken tonight. Then to find a copy of âLooking for the Lost: Journeys through a Vanishing Japanâ!
Very useful and interesting blog with lessons for political parties about last minute decisions and young voters turning out in higher numbers than expected (I see a correlation there in Bristol).

Okay I think you are ready for this BlueSky. Let's talk cheese history.
More specifically, Yorkshire Dales cheeses, and how WW2 and rationing almost wiped out cheesemaking in northern Britain.
This is the story of the near-death of the world of one of the world's great cheeses: Wensleydale. /1 đ§”
