I think the safe presumption here is that Netgear products contain backdoors for the USA's federal government and that it's best to avoid them from now on.

2 probably aren't enough to cover the unfolding events over the course of 2 months, but I feel like even as few as 17 probably are, not that you'd get anything of value out of NYP coverage. Honestly, 48 articles? That's almost 1 per day. That strikes me as maybe too many.

Indeed, I had an alright time with it, but it really doesn't stand out in my memory. Considering how the studio management has behaved since then, politically speaking, I'm happy to let that one be forgotten.

Murder, extortion, and jaywalking. But the arrest happened _after_ the board games.

i really wish "children are people and people are not property" was not a radical opinion but unfortunately it's the central question up for debate with much of politics

Palantir put out the most cartoonishly evil statement possible. They’re so arrogant and self-confident they don’t seem to believe their fascistic plans can be opposed.

We must get rid of Palantir altogether.

Soooo literally zero probable cause for a search or arrest.

Is it okay to "like" both the post and its reply, or should we pick one, like it's a poll? πŸ€”

I only hope that such an institution wouldn't go on to prohibit unpopular kinks that people claim "promote violence". Especially if it gained the critical mass to become the de facto standard. That would further entrench the moralizing.

I think I'd prefer to have "adult industry" in the name because it makes its purpose absolutely clear, which has some benefits. 1) It shows pride in sex work, proclaiming that it needn't be hidden or disguised. 2) Anything that reduces consumer confusion helps adoption. 3) It won't attract chuds.

It's important that people understand that you do not need to be in the adult industry to join the credit union. SOME CUs are like this but I highly doubt this one would be. I currently use the Boeing Employee's Credit Union as my bank but I am not and have never been a Boeing employee. FILL IT OUT!

Credit Union Survey β€” Free Speech Coalition

The Free Speech Coalition is serious about starting an adult industry credit union. Part of this is being able to show regulators that enough people would use it, so please fill out this form if you're interested!
(Yes, credit unions can issue credit cards!)

Supreme court justices are subject to impeachment and removal by congress, as are presidents, and so it is presently infeasible, for the same reason.

With only a passing understanding of what they are, I can think of loads of problems that are _probably_ already solved by the standard, but it'll take time and effort to learn about it in order to assure myself. And like, only 1 web site/service I use supports it, so I can put that off, for now.

I've had a couple of cans explode in my cabinets, and it isn't fun to clean up, so I can see why one might not want to take that risk, yet learning about this makes beer feel just a little bit less magical.

I guess I didn't realize that so much beer is not bottle-conditioned. I can imagine why, now -- I'm sure it's less consistent and riskier than injection -- but I had only ever heard about that method.

From my experience on social media, people often struggle with either of them. If BlueSky posters have somehow mastered even one of the two, I'll be shocked.

I've read that (when someone does have apnea) they are very effective, but only if patients consistently use them as directed. That can be difficult if they come across as loud or uncomfortable. If it seems annoying, try to push through and use it a lot!

It's hard for people to infer what you're thinking, sometimes. It's best to provide the context yourself in the post, I find, so that the audience doesn't have to guess at what you mean.
