I always think with stuff like this "if you're not like that" why do posts like that bother you so much? What's wrong with people calling out bad things for being bad (unless you want to do the bad things that are being called out).

Nah, I can agree. Sometimes you wanna see some chaos and bad takes. Bsky is chill for art and some legit discussions, but Twitter is the Thunderdome. As long as you're prepared, you can have some fun.

Only issue with that, there are no "good or bad endings" in Strive. You just get an alternate ending if you play flawlessly, but they aren't necessarily better or worse, and Bridget's doesn't even contradict her being trans.

Bridget literally turns to the camera and says "I'm a girl". The thing they hooked on to was the fact this only happens on one of the arcade paths, the one you get normally as opposed to the flawless one. So they started claiming: "Bridget is only trans in the bad ending".

Persona 3 is a weird one for me, since the ending makes me feel weirdly fulfilled and motivated anytime I get to it, the stellar credits theme helps to, I want "Kimi no Kioku" to be played at my funeral, I'm completely serious.

No yeah that's real, funny Metaphor is on there in particular, since I held off on actually completing for a good bit because I didn't want it to end. Literally exhausted every little thing I could potentially do.

P3 is one I can replay anytime though, that one makes me feel fulfilled.

Dancing Green from the Arcadion in FFXIV, the Arcadion just has some of the best fights in the series in general, but this one resonates with me on a whole different level. I usually struggle on my first attempts with raid bosses, but I got the vibe instantly and locked in.

It's the most satisfied I've ever felt fighting a Metroid final boss, it genuinely felt like a duel, especially with mastering the parry.

Plus the raw as hell cinematic moment you get right after at the end.

Plus, a lot of those tools like transcription and background removal seem to be lighter than a lot of generative AI, since most of them can run on a standard computer. Plus, transcription can lead to better localization, since more time can be given to fine turning the localization.

As a video editor myself, I always like to emphasize if something is "expediting" or "replacing" the creative process. Like background removal AI has been a godsend to me in editing, since the only thing it is really replacing is me spending extra time manually masking an image.

Also it feels very condescending to original creators in Japan, they act like mangakas and writers live in some sort of bubble completely divorced from any other culture, and that they are somehow being SCAMMED by having their work made available for a wider audience.
