Elias, after meeting Hopper, used a chunk of ambrosia which made him teleport away from the enemies they were fighting. He regains focus and realizes he ended up in a very strange looking place, with only a checkerboard floor and swirling multicolored gases in the air.
Suddenly a small creature addresses him, seemingly appearing out of nowhere. "I have no idea how you got in here, but it's convenient timing," the purple half of Kittum says. Elias, startled and still on edge from the conflict at the strange stonehenge, tries to run. The orange half of Kittum simply grabs the back of Elias's shirt, causing him to fall backwards. "Hey, hey, hey! We just want to talk to you," the orange Kittum says. "You do want some answers, don't you?" Elias, voice strained, replies "Yes! Answers! Cool!" Kittum extends their hand towards Elias, and says in a cheery voice - "You, Elias, have been chosen to save this ruined world. Isn't that nice?"
Elias, his words fast and voice strained due to nerves, says "No I would like to go home please." Kittum calls this response lame. They then explain that Elias is stuck here in this world - unfortunately they could not send him home. "What, you mean the grass place with the weird sludge guys? Are you kidding me!?Who even are you??" Elias asks Kittum, both of them standing over him. "Kittum. Nice to meet you." The purple Kittum places their hand on their chest. "Huh?" Elias says. "That's our name," purple Kittum clarifies. "Both of you?" Elias is confused. The orange Kittum tells him, "Just stand up already. There's more to tell." Elias begins to get annoyed at the situation, feeling like he has to probably fight to get out of here. He stands up. "No, I don't care! Send me home right now, or... or else!" The nervousness in his voice betrayed how he really felt - Elias was not naturally intimidating at all. Orange Kittum adopts a tone of sarcastic sadness, and says, "Oh, even if we could... I'm not scared of someone who locked himself out of his own house."
The meager feeling of fight Elias had evaporated instantly. "Oh, you saw that, cool..." he said meekly. Kittum moves on, stating the next thing they said was extremely important. The purple Kittum pulls out a small chunk of the golden ambrosia, not dissimilar to the one Elias used earlier. "You've seen this glowing stone before, yes?" orange Kittum asks. "Uh... yeah..." Elias confirmed. "Good, good! We call it 'ambrosia'. It's a rather wonderful substance." the orange Kittum continued. "It can make anything you want into reality. Shelter. Food. Even escape from a sticky situation. You've seen its effects firsthand." The look on their face, despite their tone, was a bit sinister. "In order to survive, you'll need as much ambrosia as you can find. It's everywhere down here, you can't go on a stroll without tripping over some." The purple Kittum lightly toases the chunk of ambrosia to Elias. "Here, a gift. To get you started." Elias unthinkingly caught it, holding it quite solidly in his hand. "Curious," orange Kittum says, mostly to themself.
