Akatsuki no Yona Gaiden chapter 2 is 32 pages including a color spread and releases in Japan on Monday, April 20th. Expect a release from us during the week.
Gaiden chapter 3 releases on June 5th.
Honestly, I don’t care who either of them end up with (I’m not sure) or if their relationship is somewhat concerning since it’s enveloped with a good amount of trauma, I will be shipping them. 😤

You see, I was trying to understand the Franchela haters because I’d probably be mad if they changed my favorite manga in the anime, BUT Bridgeton was never that faithful AND if they changed my fav ship into lesbians I would probably eat that up so… 🤭

While technically that’s possible, YOTD is a quintessential shojo manga. The action, adventure, fantasy, romantic side plot, character depth, politics, art, etc feel reminiscent of prior shojo series in the best way. Being for girls allowed for its many amazing qualities
Y’all the first episode was actually AMAZING! Obviously I read the manga so I already love this series, but the animation, the comedy so on point, the songs & dance?!?!?
We do not get adaptations like this often… oh I am SOOOOO EXCITED you don’t even know! I’m so happy!

Just reread A Bride’s Story and gosh I love it so much!
So beautiful both visually and through the story line/characters!
I also think it’s fun for her to not only learn of other cultures and landscapes but for her to also share her own with others! Her moments with the twins are so fun!

This moment with Talas always hits me!
I truly love her character & despite the hardships to come it’s wonderful seeing her explore & go after who she wants after all the loss she went through.
She shows so much kindness, determination, resourcefulness, strength & devotion!
So sad that the two manga with the MOST ROMANTIC confessions ever written ended recently… 😖💔 what will I do without these lovely heartfelt moments?!
Yeah I still think they’re interesting! It is a lot of Youko’s monologue & I think the anime even expressed her internal thoughts really well, the monkey-like man helped with that! Based on what I’ve read so far the anime just seems to be a good adaptation of it!

A Witch’s Life in Mongol was made with so much love omg this trailer showed the animators stayed faithful to the art style while still incorporating new elements to bring the manga to life 😭 this will be my new shoujo eyes sparkles

I was surprised at first but honestly while they had their purpose they didn’t feel like I was missing any characters. If anything I liked having a major character that didn’t automatically known the language, but without them, when Youko met the old man it hit harder!
I finally decided to read the Twelve Kingdoms novels, & it’s amazing! The audiobook too!
The anime is one of my favorites & is accurate to the novels so far (as of Shadow of the Moon, Shadow of the Sea, Part 1) except the novel lacks Asano & Sugimoto is a minor very character. -
I am very satisfied with the ending! The characters got such amazing endings that fit them, especially our lovely Hinako! Also, Tenkiku
shedding his sister’s appearance on stage was REALLY important!
I can’t wait to reread this story all over again!

This story quickly became one of my favorites! I loved so many characters, the complex & deep backstories, the plot in itself, & all of the intense yearning!
I just realized I’ve been reading this manga for 5 years! Time really flew by!

My four favorite YOTD characters if I HAD to choose!
I’m obviously OBSESSED with a lot of them, especially the HHB members (LOVE Gija, Shin-ah, Jae-ha, & Ao) & the other female characters, but YONA, Soo-won, Zeno, and Yoon just have a special place in my heart & they’re just so interesting to me!
In a way, many YOTD characters ended up back where they started, despite that so much has changed.
They have new knowledge, a better understanding of themselves & each other, are free from a cycle of reincarnation, a kingdom with safer & happier citizens, & a new family they can always return to.
When will be free of this bs! 😭💔
