speaking of bg3 it's funny how I did my first playthrough blind as durge and wasn't trying to roleplay particularly hard, but ended up with a surprisingly coherent character whose whole thing was just "fuck you don't tell me what to do"

taviir is a (former) noble drow lady, so... normal drow priestess things. distrusts everyone else, jumps to violence as a first resort, would sell out her friends to save herself. she thinks she's gotten better since leaving menzo but she actually hasn't, she's just had less reason to be evil

her story is that she's a former noble who willingly left her house to join bregan d'aerthe and was on a mission for them when she got yoinked, so that was my excuse to bring BD in

I was actually intending to write her relationship with minthara as platonic but then brainworms happened and bam yuri

I have a tav called taviir who I've never actually made ingame, I just wanted to write postgame minthara fic and needed an excuse to introduce existing drow lore

since she's a foil to minthara I wrote her as a drow who willingly left her noble house behind and favors practicality over sentiment

the short story is that my durge revya is vaguely named after my wol reiva bc I couldn't think of a better name and their designs are similar

the long story is that I took reiva's name from the main character of soul nomad, also called revya, and he's specifically meant to be the evil route bc :)
