I also love when you have someone who *is* a mutual follow that you don't expect. Every once in a while just getting a jumpscare fave from someone you really admire, reminding you that they also see all your *other* posts and choose (correctly) not to fave those.
A bit over a year ago I was introduced to the thriving trans indie/self-publishing scene. What I didn't realize at the time is how this would lead to me finding a wonderful new community and really motivate me to work on my transition.

Not just DLSS, or AI, but the last, like, half dozen major Tech trends have been this double-wrong marketing.
The tech is bad, and doesn't do the job. But also even if it did, that job it's being sold for _is also bad_.
And it's important to push both, and not let a focus on one concede the other.
That this happened organically in real life and not in my mind just now is proof not that there is a god or other such force directing things, but rather something much better: there are still surprises that are good.

Find any of these: Library, Thriftstore, secondhand bookshop, a cupboard with free books, your relatives or friends book shelf or storage boxes... 4. Locate the Pratchett Book. 5. The universe has now deciced with which book you must start with. 6. Compliment the universe for its wisdom. 7. From there on repeat the steps above.

Favourite is 1 and 6, because I felt like an absolute genius when I got to 6, recognised the connection to 1, and then used that info to solve both.
