Black and white doodle of Montague (Gangly Satyr) threateningly holding a nondescript individual (brigand) by the cloak at their neck. The person begs, âP-Please let me go!!â And the grim smiling Montague says âOh look, Doude! Itâs Talking! Did you cast âspeak with deadâ?â
Another voice replies, âWhy no, Yâknow, I didnât!â With a facetious thinking expression in the speech bubble.
Beneath, Montagueâs text reads, âWhy how fascinating! I donât recall it talking when it ambushed our camp to raid and pillage!â, as they pull the brigand closer to their face, smiling maniacally. Next to them, a short, old Halfling puts a thoughtful finger to his lips with a little bird sitting on his head, âI canât say I do either, pet.â
A black and white doodle of Montague sitting at a table looking mournfully at the bird perched on their finger, âDo you miss him too, Butters?â
Another doodle shows Montague holding two horns and gleefully approaching a short, beared Halfling in profile exclaiming, âLook! I shed my horns! What should we do with them?â To which the Halflingâs open palm extends and he replies, âWell show âem here- whatâre we workinâ with?â.
A black and white doodle page of Montague the satyr. The first shows them blissfully smiling with their hands clasped - the text above them reads, âDonât worry! If you die, Iâll keep your skull!â
Another small one shows Montague with a (flying) broom, and the text âUp up and away!â
A small bust shows them mournfully looking out from sitting at a table their chin in their hand, the text above reading, âI found out why people grieve, Doude.â
A small one shows Montague throwing up a peace sign and sticking their tongue out.
Lastly, a doodle of Montague holding horns and running up to someone eating soup at a campfire, saying, âFresh shed horns! What should we make!â The person with an unamused expression replies, âMonty Please not while Iâm eating-â
Beneath, Montague laughs âHa Ha, like youâre not eating with one of my old horns. Youâre so silly! â¤ď¸ â
The person, mission held up, stares forward in shock.

His speech reads, âNow this here is a Feather token, Lass. Made it myself with a little help from Olâ Butters.â
Montagueâs speech reads, âWhatâs it do?â
âWhy catches you if you fall, Pet. Would you keep it with you, just in case?â
âOf course, Doude.â
A small drawing of their hands clasped as he smiles affectionately at Montague, who smiles back in confusion.
-
Text reads âHave you considered letting your braids down, Monty?â They look up in surprise, âAh! Perhaps some day. In the Memento circles, braids are used to signify people we have lost. Their bones may turn to dust and their flesh may rot, but so long as we live, we remember.â
A small close up of their braid, âThe first is for my Father, who passed when I was too young to know him. The second, for my Grandmother, who helped to raise me. And the last is for Doude. They say youâre supposed to let them down when youâve let go. I never used to understand what that meant.â
A portrait of child Montague looking up and then getting patted by Doude. The text reads, âWhy would someone want to let go, I Thought. But Doude would only smile and say, âSome day.â I wonder if he knew then?â
What do you mean Iâm not supposed to doodle deep lore for the one shot character?
Maybe one day theyâll be in a real campaign đ
Montague quick notes: worships a death goddess and Doude the Halfling (basically their dad) is dead by present day. Also Butters the familiar (used to be Doudeâs pet). đ¤
