Surgery was successful, Tiga has one less tooth, and the obligatory post-vet inspection has been performed.

Because it never ends, Tiga needs a tooth extracted (happening tomorrow), Pickle has her follow up Wednesday, and she and I had a disagreement over a stray chicken bone this afternoon. I’m so freaking exhausted by the constant onslaught of nonsense.

And of course if there’s anything we know, there’s so many flavors of mushing. From racing competitively in a big kennel to having a smaller kennel doing mid distance to having a smaller kennel and not racing at all but just being out there with your family (and more permutations), there’s options.

True. This just struck me more because the musher is like “yeah no I don’t want to race at all because I don’t like it”.

One of the mushers in the CD30 was running on this exact setup—the team owner/head musher loves the training and didn’t want to race so he found someone who wanted to do that part of it!

Ah yes, bouncing screaming happy Caleb, so aggressive. Plus he was horribly mistreated after being dropped too—only one steak dinner and only one hotel bed? That dog deserved two steaks and a full suite! 😂
