I see Ray Dalio finally moved on from today is the 1930s. Now it’s the 1970s.

For those asking about these metals. Gold is like a physical bitcoin.

Part of the implications of being skeptical of algos is in 2017, if a Twitter bluecheck posted “XYZ fired for being critical of QRS” there was a good chance the claim had passed through multiple levels of filters to be posted.

Today, if “XYZ fired” shows up in your feed it could just be algo grift.

Something I realized this weekend: we should have a more charitable reading of the folks in our orbit that have a totally different understanding not just of this man but of any figure that is mostly known via social media imagery. We literally are seeing totally different characters.

This is an extremely important point. One that we all need to come to realize. Not just about Charlie Kirk, but about everyone and every issue that is filtered through the social media ecosystem.

Trends that to me all seem related:
-There are a huge number of households earning $100k+ and/or with $1M+ net worths
-We have not increased the supply of goods (housing, elite higher ed, Disney/Vegas) to meet this wealth
-Hiring is weak, especially for young people
-Those without money are YOLOing

I’m no tennis expert but these two guys look like they could dominate the sport for years to come.

The stadiums will be full. But it for sure does not feel like a big deal yet at all.

On the upside, at least it finally got the Gulch project moving. No longer a massive hole in the ground that people were scared to walk past.

Something learned many years ago, in the major markets like NYC or SF, price is not barrier. If it’s a huge event and the mega wealthy want to go, they go.

Yeah. It’s drastically different. I’ve never seen anything with the volatility that prices experienced for today’s matches.

Friday night went nuclear when Alcaraz won. Then they announced at 1am Thursday morning he would be day session. So the day session went nuclear and night session died.

It’s wild how much bigger of a draw Alcaraz is than Sinner.

I was expecting Josh to be coaching down in Miami.

Carson Beck’s making $4 million in Miami, throwing a TD, having fun. Quinn Ewers (could’ve made millions of dollars playing for Michigan this year) got drafted in the 7th round and is the 3rd string QB for the Dolphins.

Banks keeping the spread between mortgage rates and the 10 year treasury at levels never seen before. That’s going to become a political issue for trump. He will say something negative about them and try to force them to tighten it up. But banks worried about too much refinancing here.

I’ve already found myself just moving back to X for the most part.

That’s where this is different. The Big 6 have the earnings and growth to justify the valuations.

In the late 90s it was all speculation about what would come. And they were right they were just way too early.

Same thing happened with housing in 03-07. Speculators Right bit too early & blew up!

Perhaps I’m wrong. But I think it’s very unlikely that the Qs collapse or that this is a dot-com bust.

Sitting in Costco parking lot. Daughter napping in back. I started with a 97% state of charge yesterday, did 105 miles with a trailer (don’t ask), another 52 miles without, and ran a tailgate (fans, slow cooker, hot dog roller, interior AC) off my truck for four hours. Why do ppl have range anxiety?

Yeah that’s a good point.

The vast majority of these between I-16 and the GL/FL line didn’t exist a year ago. I used to really have to think that trip through. When I drove down to delivery supplies after the hurricane, it got really dicey.

8 months ago 1 0 0 0

Yeah I don’t even think about that term anymore at all. Even in SEGA, there’s enough chargers now to make the trip down with no worries.

That’s interesting. What part? Like inside the parameter?

When I think Buford highway, I think downtown Buford to McGinnis ferry in suwanee.

There is a pyramid in a way in this ecosystem — you start with dance or unboxing videos and if you get some attention try to keep leveling up. Jake Paul did it too:

Alright so what week will Sanders take over as the starting QB in Cleveland?

They’ve done an excellent job of creating FOMO too. This used to be something the music business was great at. But they moved away from this model. When the venue is full & looks energetic every night, more people want to come check it out—no matter how stupid it is.

Youth Is Losing to Experience in This Job Market There are signs that while AI may be reducing entry-level roles, expertise is becoming more valuable – for now.

Me in @opinion.bloomberg.com: for white collar workers, the labor market right now is best-described as bifurcated. It’s hard for young college grads, but despite being in the shadow of AI, wage growth in the industry has actually accelerated lately: www.bloomberg.com/opinion/arti...
