And one more thing, ran out of space: what does concern me, though it’s in the long term, is Kemp running for POTUS in 2028. He’s ideally placed to pull the “trust me, I’m a total normie Republican” gambit.

I agree that Kemp’s “spidey sense” is telling him 2026 wouldn’t be his year. I doubt he wants to be dragged down by Trump. Meanwhile that puts Ossoff in a great position because Kemp was the only really strong Republican candidate, and Ossoff is the incumbent.
