Some people say that, in addition to using your right mouse button to quickly face the clone, that "back pedaling" can further help ensure your character is facing the clone as well.

It took somewhere between 80 - 90 pulls but I finally managed to get her despite being a pretty badly designed encounter overall. That aside, I'm 3 for 3 on these challenges!
