Today's object lesson: sunflowers make a terrible 1-year space filler, because pulling 85,000 baby sunflowers sucks 😅

Lately I've been focusing a lot on expanding my garden knowledge, learning important lessons like "oh no" and "why did I do that?"

I’m so tired of being told by Genocide Dems that these freaks aren’t saying what they’re actually saying very loudly

'Early on in the 2000s, we got enamored with consoles and I think certain games didn't make the leap right:' Star Wars Zero Company's director has a theory about why old school PC gaming genres are b... "Hopefully people are just [going to say] 'a great game is a great game,' and look at it from that perspective."

I guess that’s one theory. Mine is “people stopped funding them so they stopped getting made and a bunch of companies that made them were absorbed into other companies who didn’t see any value in them”

I feel like you might need a few of those special sentences to get through all your stuff now 😅

You need one of these demo sentence images, but every letter is a different font that begins with that letter 😉🫣

Before you leave a negative review on an indie game you didn't like and potentially mess up their visibility in a crowded market:

- STOP! Take a step back.
- Take some calming breaths.
- Consider: Was the game actually bad, or was it just not made specifically for you and your interests?

Loss is the worst thing in life. Because it's the cost we pay for the best thing in life, love, it has to be. It is a measure of the love this silly, impressive little creature brought into the world that her loss feels so profound.

I love you Shorts, and I will miss you forever ❤️

I want to thank everyone who helped make this exceptional dog's life so special. She loved all of you.

As Shorti's time was drawing to a close we made sure she had a lot of all her favorite things. She saw her friends. She visited a farm and went swimming. She ate lots of steak, and pizza, and fish. Yesterday she went peacefully, with a belly full of salmon, surrounded by people she loved.

Between my brother taking her everywhere, our former roommate using her as an example while dog training, and her gregarious nature at the park, Shorti was always making friends.

Shorti had a full life, I was fond of saying she had a wider social circle than I do but it wasn't some cute exaggeration- it was actually pretty routine for me to get stopped while walking her and have someone exclaim "Is that Shorti?!"

She dedicated every day to the hunt, the relentless seeking of joy; a little pet, a little fun, a little treat, a warm spot by the fire or snuggled against her kid. Shorti was always busy making sure Shorti had the best, and her pursuit of joy scattered it like so many crumbs for the rest of us.

She saw and barked at many crabs and otters and dolphins and whales. She chased rats and squirrels and she caught birds, several entire birds, and never hurt one. She ate many wonderful things, both given and forbidden, and it turned out that every theft was worth it.

Shorti had an accomplished life. Despite being "fixed" she raised two puppies and one whole human child, as well as two untenable stoners. We hope she is proud of us.

After spending the first part of her life a mess whenever it came to bath time, we were shocked to discover Shorti was a confident mariner and strong swimmer, the former all too often leading to the latter. Shorti never saw a passing bit of seaweed that might not secretly be a treat in disguise.

Shorti lived half her year in Alaska and half in Utah, placing her in charge of a larger landmass than any United States Governor, and she took full advantage of both her homes. Shorti loved her leisure, but as a natural athlete she was in her element outdoors.

Two days ago, we said goodbye to a real one. Shorti was my brother's dog, but she spent a lot of time at my house, and my parents'. Shorti welcomed herself to our family in 2007, and from day one she made sure you knew she was both the center of attention and Lord of all she surveyed.
