Our foundation KANTAROT / КАНТАРОТ created kits with experiments that illustrate fun science concepts:
1. How to prevent soap bubbles from popping?
2. What is capillary activity?
3. Why do we print using CMYK colors?
4. Who can see the Ames window illusion?

Evidence Day was a huge success!
Thank you to @polymtl.bsky.social for believing in us, and to Catherine Florès for the excellent write-up

Evidence Day is about to start
Tomorrow (December 4) we will demonstrate what woven literature looks like in the age of AI. We will introduce a new AI-driven article format (wired paper) and present four examples that cover a range of disciplines. Join us!

The launch will happen on December 4 on the beautiful campus of NYU Abu Dhabi. We have a stellar list of speakers including John Ioannidis (Stanford University), Alan Evans (McGill University) and Cesar A. Hidalgo (Toulouse School of Economics) 3/n
Evidence expands the scope of NeuroLibre to include the full range of natural sciences while incorporating LLM assisted workflows and preserving rigorous reproducibility standards. 2/n
After three sabbaticals in Tokyo, Abu Dhabi and Skopje, I’m excited to finally share what we’ve built. Join us for the unveiling of the Evidence publishing platform! 1/n

NMR as inspiration for quantum computing, pretty cool!
I still dream of changes in the ISMRM and I hope this series of blog posts will contribute to it. I have created a survey (link) asking the community for feedback. Feel free to use it to voice your concerns and to suggest ways in which the ISMRM could improve.

I moderated a fun debate at the @esmrmb.bsky.social microstructure workshop today. We asked the panelists to argue for and against the clinical potential of qMRI. Inspired by the Munk debates, we polled the audience before and after the discussion. It appears the pessimists won by a small margin:)
Another NeuroLibre publication that puts reproducibility at the forefront. Congratulations @evaalonsoortiz.bsky.social for getting it accepted in the Canadian Journal of Neurological Sciences!

Writing Japanese is a Sisyphean pleasure
Johnes Obungoloch (PhD) first visited us at @polymtl in 2019 for the first edition of the MRathon. Six years later, he is back in Montreal building a low-field MRI scanner with Udunna Anazodo
It was a pleasure welcoming him back to the NeuroPoly lab together with @jcohenadad.bsky.social
One of these days I'll return to OHBM, it's been a while...
In the meantime, let me know if you want to visit Abu Dhabi this fall. We have a couple of exciting events there this fall. Will DM when the news is out
