Oh nice!
Every chance it’s still going on!
And part two of the overnight hedgehog pond shenanigans. 🦔
Very bad form. One hedgehog dumped the other in the pond. But no harm done. 🦔
🆕 Sequencing data generated in the Quadram Institute showed that 4 out 5 Campylobacter infections in the UK are associated with poultry meat 🧬

This war is so damn confusing. It’s why we shouldn’t let drunks and dementia patients run it.
A hedgehog twofer in Eilan Donan. Very much a “Has he gone yet?” vibe. Quality frown. 🦔
Trevor Phillips said on Sky News this morning that "everybody in the country who could read a newspaper" knew in advance of the Mandelson appointment that he was problematic
is this the same Phillips who interviewed Mandelson on October 08 2023 and didn't ask any questions about Epstein friendship?
Scientists in @jugelab.bsky.social have drawn inspiration from gut bacteria to suggest a novel way of limiting colon cancer progression 🦠
Today is #WorldLiverDay. Within the Quadram Institute, we are looking to contribute to efforts to reduce the impact and burden of liver disease by understanding the links between gut health, diet and the liver ⤵️
It’s a lovely idea!
The venerable Kett’s Oak coming into leaf and seeing in another year. Long run done ✅
Something tells me a hedgehog passed this way last night. 🦔💩
And I *think* this is Bello Uno returning to his nest box at 04:11. Moves from right of frame into the box. Be a quiet day in the garden today. 🦔
And there were shenanigans in Eilan Donan too. Lots of huffing and chuffing so sound on. I think the male who followed the female in was one of the newbies. Biscuits were eaten. 🦔
Overnight hedgehog goings on. This will be a thread. Both Comet and Bello Uno ventured forth. Think this is one of them chowing down in Craigevar. Big unit. 🦔
Comet is up and off! Headed into the woods. 🦔
The Hedgehog Distribution System has brought us two chonky boars to release in a hedgehog-friendly location. Comet and Bello Uno spent winter with a rescue centre as they were too small to survive. Comet was only 60 grams. Fingers crossed. 🦔🦔
Yum. Floor seasoned biscuits. 🦔
Oh. 😬
Darling, you look absolutely fabulous.
BBC today correct Nigel Farage's false claim to Nick Robinson on Political Thinking (13th February 2026) that net migration was only down due to an "exodus" of people leaving the UK since 90% of net migration fall was a fall in immigration. After my 3rd complaint!

It is 12 years ago since @bokarelli.bsky.social and I went to sneak a peak of the Kelpies, just before the site opened to the public. They were, and are, majestic.
I’m looking for an automated way to read others’s scientific data without giving credit or acknowledgement, and also claim full credit for insights from it. And I want it to have a fitting name
OAI: say no more
Top of my to do list!
