Heading home from RPGLB - quite likely the most fun I've had at a limit break yet. Very happy with both my run and the ones I was able to contribute commentary for.

Was great getting to catch up with / meet people, watch some runs, do some practice room races. The hotel sucked but Denver was cool.

Had a 4:01 in DQ3 HD2D today. Second run, no real practice. Need to pull in some optimizations and practice specific bosses. Don't love the run but would like a somewhat-clean run.

Going away for work for a week starting Wednesday so probably be awhile before another attempt.

I definitely got side-tracked a couple times when reading The Expanse. Actually took a ~1yr break at one point, too. IMO, taking a little distance at times helps that series a bit vs. straight binging it.

As much as I really wanted Judge to get one this year, there's no doubt Ohtani is deserving. Would have been more special if he did it in a year where he was able to pitch, too, though.

Yeah, it all came together pretty quickly. Less than 2 months from first starting to look to closing. Hopefully I won't immediately regret everything.

Well I guess I own a house now.

ErrorOfRuto and I spent months trading WR leading up this event, and we were neck and neck throughout the entire race, frequently completely in sync. Just a really great race.

I've been trying some "classic" style Fire Emblem games recently - played through FE7, currently playing FE6 w/translation patch - and I think I might finally be starting to "get" the series. Plan to play more, but maybe I should consider trying some other SRPGs soon too?

I guess this is the new social media place to be. Been pretty inactive on social media lately, so the short life update is, I moved across the country 6 months ago and in a week or so I'm buying a house.

Streams will be back once I'm moved. DQ8 PS2 notes are in progress, likely for a one-and-done.
