Didn’t think I’d get to catch Project Hail Mary at the cinema as it fell right around my surgery, but man am I glad I did.
Had the whole cinema to myself so no one saw me laughing, crying, hiding behind my hands, etc.
Was sad I’d never get to read it for the first time again. This helped.

This time 18 years ago I was pulling yet another all nighter and the uni library with nothing but a packet of Lucozade tablets, Red Bull, and Vitamin String Quartet to get me through.

FWIW I believe that the tins of normal spaghetti are still the bigger stuff. I imagine it’s because there’s also already accessible ones for smaller people (hoops/shapes/alphabets, etc.) that they have kept both.
This way all ages and requirements can eat the bolognese :)
It’s mainly made like this for ease when canning foods, but it’s also safer for young children and people with dysphagia.

There’s a disconnect for so many people between what is luxury, and what is necessity.
There’s so many ways to have brought those costs down without losing out on a ‘nice day out for the family’. Pizza Express was never a cheap option to begin with.
