Devastating. I can see 2026 isn’t going to be any easier than last year.

To a lot of folks, this just looks like someone who lost their dog, a pet. For me, he was one of the only stable things in my life. If you have fur babies, give them extra loving for me today 🖤

Today marks 1 year, which has honestly felt like 5 years. The grief that has come with this has brought me to some dark places. Yet, somehow, I still feel like I haven’t processed any of it. This opened up a lot of unprocessed past emotions and the depression has been a real struggle this past year.
