We've tried to do something different with this piece, and we'd love it if you tell us what you think.

It's also my final piece as Guest Editor, and I think it's a great not to leave on. I'm incredibly grateful for this experience.

Can't wait to see what the project does next!

It's been over five years since Suniti started teaching me and I still carry the principles of care and criticality that she embodies as an academic.

One of my final editorial pieces for The Polyphony, and one of my favourites.

Do read, and circulate widely!

‘Thakumar Jhuli’ – The Ghost Stories of Bengali Folklore with Arya Ray Arya Ray joins us to explore Bengali folklore

In about an hour today, I'll be talking about Bengali ghosts as part of Romancing the Gothic's talk series. When my grandfather told me these bedtime stories, I doubt he thought I'd make it the centre of my research but here we are.
Come along if you can!

Very proud of this one. The project is about a neighbourhood very close to my heart - where I grew up and am lucky to call home. These stories are the closest attempt at capturing the sense of (un)belonging that most residents, including me, have felt all our lives.
