Know the tree, but didn’t know it was a gibbet! When was this?

They look Spanish to me?
The oak tree is still going strong.
Jim was a bit reticent (…bad for sales I suppose). He says they found “two and a half” which I assume was bodies rather than individual bones. They were in the corner nearest to the traffic lights. To quote Jim “ Wherever you dig in Lichfield you find bodies”.
I’m going to ask Jim, the foreman, about these bones, since we live next door. Will let you know if he spills the beans (…may be bad news whilst they are trying to sell them!)

It’s one of those where, if you were given the track list, you could guess who had chosen it.
Got it from the picture. Sorry we put you to the trouble of a written response!
👍👍 Got it!
We’ve guessed three different locations for this shot. Please put us out of our misery!
I thought “innocent until proven guilty” was a central plank of UK justice? Quite a few of the establishment seem happy to abandon it in the case of AM-W.
Us plebs. Knew he was a wrong ‘un years ago.
So having been on a high, four years ago when the Down Syndrome Bill became an Act, all those 47,000 families have now had the rug pulled out from under their feet - to satisfy the spending plans of a Government claiming to protect minorities.
SHAME ON THEM
Even when diagnosed there are virtually no specialist care services for the different symptoms those with Downs suffer in addition to the usual pernicious effects of the disease. Many of them suffer seizures. If they go to a “standard” dementia care home their life chance diminish immediately.
The different needs of people with Downs Syndrome are best illustrated by their susceptibility to Alzheimer’s. 50% of them develop the disease by 55. This is 6x the prevalence of the learning disability cohort, and a massive 96x more than the wider population.
Please read this article in The Times today. It reports the frustration of 47K families that include a person with Downs Syndrome. They have seen the DS Act, passed in 2022, neutered by ministers & bureaucrats by proposing guidance which fails to recognise the different needs of people with Downs.
I bet he thinks this is a completely different issue…that is if thinking comes into either situation.
John Profumo was a good role model for later scandal generators.
Petrol cap still seems to work.
…or a books guy - apparently!
…and he’s still alive!
Hooray - Massimo comes to Bluesky! This account was the only one I missed when I left X - and this is despite the fact that Musk thought it was one of the best sites on there. Welcome.
Costing more even now it’s been scrapped.
…could be a sacrifice.
