Just to put some numbers on it, petroleum imports were 200B for Europe in 2025, representing IIRC ~10% of all imports! If that doubles to 400B that’s just 1% of European gdp immediately gone in first round effects.

It's really good but all of these limited series seem to drag a little towards the end. Maybe because the middle is the best bit? See S2 Beef and How to get to Heaven from Belfast. Keep them to 6 episodes.

So I saw this and tbh at first thought 'oh God this is a bit twee, very Green' (although I think HS was a great candidate) but actually I've read it and it's just made me incredibly pissed off.

Isn't there also a government proposal for more transport links, trains to Sutton etc?

They were great with my Nan and I'd happily contribute to a campaign to expand.

I find this so much more annoying from Davey than the other leaders, because unlike the others, I just don’t think he, at any level, believes this stuff.

Striking that the question might as well be 'if we put a load of chemicals in a big scary hole which sounds like something from the film 2012, would you support it?'

April fools day and we have Trump and Rubio talking about this lasting 3 more weeks - 2 months total (if that actually happens).

Richer families use more petrol. Some 40% of the poorest households don't even have access to a car (www.gov.uk/government/s...).

Governments should absolutely not intervene on the price of petrol or diesel.
