In a publication authored by a GP2-led team and in partnership with the MJFF, researchers followed up on the recently identified novel non-coding genetic variant in the GBA1 gene that increases #PD risk among individuals of African ancestry. 🧪

The availability of Parkinson's medicines in Africa and in many countries is unacceptable. Look at new data from the World Health Organization. Ray Dorsey and I will be calling this out with a plan to address it in our next book due out in 2025. We did it for HIV and now we will do it for PD.
