Oh my piss!
4 red cards each would be nice.
I do find it hilarious to see players over celebrate a single goal so much when nothing is won. The minute Simons celebrates like that, i knew Brighton would equalise.

Where it fails is when it slips too much into the underground fantasy world - it is a place for a man to hide from his past, but can try to force it too much, and feel like it does in attempt to be hip. It should aim more for cool wit rather than simple cool.
It's a decent film for mainland Europe's oldest metro system, with some good sardonic humour and creates the sense of the network being like a world within itself. This allows for some good cinematography in a world without sun.

Coogan is okay as McCarthy, but more parody than portrait, while Hardwicke is decent as Keane, though feels gentler than you might expect, making the tension weaker. The expletive rant is the highlight, but with the supporting cast played as fools, makes it look more like Craggy Island than Saipan.
Football films can often get it wrong. This does tick a couple of the better boxes, however: 1) Focus on a particular moment in time; 2) Try and avoid showing any actual football. As a character piece, it lacks a bit of depth in the characters, relying on the audience's prior knowledge.

It is enjoyable, requiring no thought and just enjoy the ride, but feels a little lightweight in it. Focusing on the bizarre, but feeling a bit churned out in an afternoon. Given a bit more time and budget, this could have been a bit more. But has some nice techniques and choices to give it a pass.
