Ich habe selbst chronische Erkrankungen, die mich mit fortschreitendem Alter deutlich einschränken werden, außerdem kümmere ich mich um zwei alte Menschen, eine mit Demenz. Auf der Basis übersetze ich diese Vorschläge mal in heutiges Deutsch:

Vielleicht hat man so die AfD normalisiert und ihr zu einer neuen Kernwählerschaft verholfen? Vielleicht.

Stattdessen geht es auch hier wieder einmal nur um: Männer.

I grew up with my grandmother telling me fairy tales she invented, and went on to read fairy tales, historical novels and SFF. I still read speculative fiction and in my professional life work on similar genres in medieval Icelandic literature. The only thing that didn't carry over was horse novels😅

Teaching is prepped for the first week of term (which is next week), so now there is very little keeping me from working on this project proposal that I've been putting off until the very very last minute. It feels bizarre thinking about the period 2027–31 when your contract ends in September 2027.
