Sandy, I do a lot of interviewing, so I keep note of things sources say that could be follow-up articles or potential client pitches. I use paper/pen. So modern of me. :) #FreelanceFriends

Otter is amazing. Another good use for AI. #FreelanceFriends

A good use of AI, and one I used one time, is when you have a rambling interview and you can't quite connect what the person is trying to say. Many of my sources get to review before publication, so I'm able to phrase it better, run it by them, and not lose my mind guessing.

Right?! Pexels, Pixabay anyone?

I cringe every time he talks about the "image I created using A - I" because he didn't "create" it. It was an amalgamation of images that already existed. Hence my cringe.

That's a clear line in the sand. You're wise to dump them.
A client of mine did that, too. I told them the original was better. It was. And I knew where those words came from, so guess which one I'm endorsing?

Monk in my meditation group is obsessed with using AI to create images for his presentations to our weekly group (about 12-15 people). I've already warned him about using AI images for any work where he earns money. Copyright infringement is nothing to play with. #FreelanceFriends

This right here. #FreelanceFriends

A2: Personally, I would not. AI-generated content could contain plenty of plagiarized phrases, copyrighted slogans, you name it. No way I'd stick my hand in that flame.

A1:
I have a writer friend who was asked to train AI, and another of her clients "told" her she'd be editing their AI-generated content. She declined both.

I'm a big fan of marketing every day. Doesn't have to be constant promotion, but getting in touch with someone, sharing something, reaching out to past clients, introducing yourself to a prospective client .... make yourself known. Make yourself a resource. #FreelanceFriends

It'll be done, and that's my goal! LOL #FreelanceFriends

I'm actually promoting less -- trying to retire. But I think face-to-face meetings where possible were what landed some clients for me. I think promotion should be about building a relationship with the would-be client. Never sell on the first date. :)

When I was actively promoting my business, I would attend an annual trade show. I set up the meetings prior to the show, making sure to build in time to meet the exhibitors and attendees. It was a great way to become known in the industry.

I'm Lori, living just outside of Valley Forge Park, and I'm trying to work on the middle of a noisy, dusty kitchen reno. I wrote about insurance and risk management.

Great to be here! #freelancefriends

This is an actual exchange from a VP who took an oath to defend the constitution and, as a citizen, is expected to abide by the law.

May we one day have accountability for the grotesque lawlessness of this regime.
