Inside of games, we all know what the human touch looks like. But these yahoos in their 50s are up here talking and human craft + AI when 40% of (non-china) game industry growth comes from goof ass broken jank kiddo game world (aka roblox) ... The *market* is already both saturated and cooked
Amazon is in a race to the bottom. X is a race to the bottom. YouTube is a race to the bottom. Online journalism has been shelled by this race to the bottom. AI slop is king. Attention economies rule. And most "game" companies are just revenue streams inside larger tech companies 2/??
Fascinated by how much game execs are convinced "the human touch" is so critical to making games and will never be compromised by AI...when none of our platform markets support this level of creative preciousness 1/?? 🧵
