How I keep myself from going crazy
This year the FNRS in Belgium will reward a doctoral thesis in Physics and/or Mathematics (defended in 2023 or 2024) with the Antonella Karlson award, including a 5000 EUR cash prize for personal use. The deadline is March 3rd!

The most important aspect of the BPS is our annual meeting, which will take place this year on the 28th of May in Louvain-la-Neuve, organized by Xavier Urbain and colleagues. Abstract submission will open in early February.
The board of the Belgian Physical Society and members of Young Minds chapters throughout Belgium met together this past Monday for the annual board meeting. We were hosted at the incredible von Karman Institute for Fluid Dynamics just outside of Brussels (thanks to Peter Simkens).
