Some months back over on the other place. I was silly enough to ask Grok when did Farage last say something positive about Britain...
In summary... his 'positive' comments were only about war from hundreds of years ago and tech/financial profiteering in a few buildings in London.
Nothing else.
Although TBH I'd take a relegation to K1 to have had Leicester's last 13 years since THAT Deeney goal
Charlie Daniels probably isn't even available as caretaker, since apparently he's on the shortlist to be Barnsley's next manager
I've not watched so far.
At least we're not Leicester tonight.
I'd completely forgotten there's a game. Suppose it is that apathetic time of the season. Can I be bothered to watch it?
Good idea, I'll vote for Charlie Daniels

How about this - not serious - from over on the other place?
I'm weirdly up for a relegation battle to give us something to actually care sbout - risky madness compared to this boring mid table rubbish.
What is our aim? Realistically I think mid table Champ is ok. Although it sucks when every season is good then awful. I'd rather have Pozzo actually communicating (maybe?) than some 'big shot' who overshoots and destroys the club.
I put it squarely on Pozzo.
What do any staff do?
But do we blame the players?
My nearly-9-year-old daughter almost wanted to attend her first WFC game today (success!), but then decided she would rather go to a 5th birthday party with her little sister (smart girl) ๐ฅฒ
I've renewed my season ticket (success!), but only as I'm sharing with 2 others, so max 8 games to endure ๐

Dear whoever needs to see this (and therefore probably isn't on Bluesky)... this is an example of multiculturalism in London - are you ok with that and if not why not?
Quite refreshing to see Laila Cunningham on #Politics Live, as she's so bad it really shows how actually competent most MPs really are in comparison.
The only team having a greater self-own of a season is MAGA, now even including a humbling away defeat in Hungary
Still a pain to get to/from
Yes Hungary!
So what should #WatfordFC expectations be? Deteriorated leadership team, weak financial operations, semi-effective but limited player-trading model, much-derided Head Coach rotation chaos, terrible communication to supporters, all just maintaining decent infrastructure from better times.
The Pozzo family rightly built up a lot of credit in those first several years at Watford, but Gino Pozzo has eroded that all away. I think the same is fair to say about Duxbury - and BTW no well-governed organisation should have one person as Chair and CEO, with only 2 other Board members.
...Pozzo! He sabotaged Clevs in Jan 25 by suddenly wanting to sack him for no obvious reason, and clearly got a shock from the fan's revolt to that. So he scuppered the season by refusing to update the squad so that Clevs would appear to fail. We saw it, but of course no comment from Pozzo (as per).
...we had a manager I could get behind, who I actually cared about being given time to learn and develop. And so I supported the players more in that journey too, even though it went the other way from January (agsin), which of course was because of...
I agree, however, I do wonder what WFC expectations should be?
I want to enjoy supporting Watford, but I don't expect us to get promoted or be established in the top division.
But I enjoyed last season more then most recent ones, overall not just the overachieving first half (as per), because...
Is singing along to a loud PA playing of the un-intimidating song 'Glad All Over' really creating a "great atmosphere" as pundits are always desperate to tell us?
* Of course you can only beat the opposition in front of you, and they got stitched up being demoted from the other comp.
But wow the Conference League is largely weak. Proper game tonight though. And clearly I'm just jealous ๐
Palarse* in a European qtr final...
Teams they've beaten:
Fredrikstad (W home, D away)
Dynamo Kyiv (played in Lublin)
AZ Alkmaar (W home)
Shelbourne (W away)
Zrinjski (D away, W home)
AEK Larnaca (L away, D home, W away)
I honestly think most top half Championship teams could have got through.

If you're not in favour of the Employment Rights Act 2025, what are you in favour of instead?
Lords
Could be 6-1 either way, sounds fun. Nil nil incoming then. I prefer it here today...
