sounds like possibly a driver/Steam Input issue, you might want to try toggling Steam Input and see if it's any different

My opinion is that if a game has high replayability, it should also track and let you see a bunch of your gameplay stats.

I think games should be way more judicious about using increased enemy HP as a difficulty modifier. If the moment-to-moment isn't interesting or challenging enough, this often just reads "everything takes longer."

i was provided an on-ear pair at work and they straight up hurt. i would never buy a pair for myself

20-30 FPS, dynamic resolution making the game blurry to keep up performance during busy scenes, and high battery usage. I'll personally stick to playing it on PC, but it's impressive that they have it working as well as it does despite the tradeoffs.

my cold take is that metroidvanias should be a lot more generous with fast travel once you have 100% map completion, maybe even sooner

Maybe over a decade ago I remember hearing a story (maybe a Day9 video?) about a Starcraft pro who would practice in all sorts of conditions like chair too high/low, room too hot/cold, while tired, etc. just to be mentally prepared for it happening at tournaments. I still think about that a lot.

I'm always craving new gadgets (currently thinking about an e-reader), but I'm going crazy with how many charging cables and outlets I'm using already.

To leave it on a positive note, the beauty of these games for me is that each run while learning, I'm seeing cool new items and unlocks to keep it fresh, and by the time I'm running out of things to see I'll have passively improved enough to tackle the harder content.
