Today I uncovered an old email from my late grandad. When I was 9, I left my teddy bear at their house 4 hours away that my nan made before I was born. I was really upset about it but the email was a short story my grandad wrote about my teddy bear deciding he was big enough to make the trip home.

I visited Alton Towers once a year for a random weekend throughout my childhood until 2018. We always stayed in Splash Landings other than 1 year when it was being refurbished and I loved it. I was terrified of rides though until a friend convinced me to go for a day trip.

They are great, but if you’re in the area, I recommend also trying the Class 730s. They’re some great EMUs, genuinely enjoy them so much!
