Loved this reflection from @jslbutler.bsky.social on IMRF 2025. The beauty of this conference is exactly that — the mix of perspectives and a true multisensory mosaic.

It was a pleasure to connect with many great perceptual researchers at #IMRF2025. There, I had the opportunity to share my current research comparing metacognitive access across bodily modalities + cheer on my colleagues from Tufts as they presented their own super cool work!
A week of inspiring research & exciting chats with new and old friends at #IMRF2025! Presented our latest work on visuotactile crossmodal congruency effect in children 👾
Thank you @imrf.bsky.social ! Was an honour to help run microphones for such cool talks 🫡

Looking forward to seeing many of you in Genoa next year for #IMRF2026! We cannot wait.
Organising a conference is pretty work-intensive, however, coming together over research, lunches and socials always reminds us what we're doing this for: our research community!
Many people I talked to at IMRF agree: our research community is special: open, supportive, inclusive, and creative😊
We heard about amazing research via talks, posters, and three excellent keynotes; learnt about different research methods, changes in publishing, and connected with new and old friends 🤝
Much food for thought, which all of us will take back into the different corners of the world we return to🌍🧠
